What is Happening on April 15 at Skyline Park

Equestrian Program on Skyline Day

April 15, 2023 from 10:30am until about 12:30pm

Skyline Day at Skyline Park is free admission day to the public. Equestrian, Archery and Disc Golf will have activities and there will be the annual Native Plants sale.

The program will begin at 10:30 am with the Sheriff’s Posse Flag Ceremony and then the following 11 demonstrations: 1 Jumping – Tulucay Farms, 2 Groundwork, 3 Trotting (2 English & 2 Western Riders) 4 Cantering (2 English & 2 Western Riders) 5 Gaiting, 6 Dressage, 7 Mule & Donkey, 8 4H with Dana Azevedo, 9a Barrel Racing and Pole Bending, 9b Kids Horse Stick Races around barrels and thru poles with prizes, 10 Trail - all in the arena - and 11 an Obstacle demonstration right outside the arena on the Obstacle Course. The arena will be dragged after the Mule and Donkey demo and before the 4H demo. For kids there will be painting of wooden horseshoes and other wooden items in the area of the shade structure.
